Our Daily Commute

Our new daily commute is vastly different from the crowded rush hour in London, usually spent fighting strangers for a cramped space to stand (or breathe) on the train.

Here in Goma there are a few more hazards to avoid; goats, moto-taxis, matatus (minibuses), not to mention the state of the road as soon as it rains, giving way to deep trenches of mud that must be navigated on the way home.

I am not sure which is preferable, but I will leave you to watch our video and judge for yourself…
